*I'm also approved by the WSH Branch of the Manitoba Government as a WSH Approved Training Provider.
My courses are taught in a timely fashion to make sure that the training is extensive and that your employees are back to work quickly. I am mobile, so I am available to come to your facility to offer training on-site! If coming to your facility does not work I also have a location to offer off-site training as well.
"When teaching my course, I draw on my experience as an Advanced Care Paramedic Practitioner with the City of Winnipeg to provide examples of when and how the skills I teach can be used and applied in real life situations. I also find the stories I share help to keep the students engaged and actively participate in my courses.Based on my experience I make sure that I provide additional focus on the most relevant skills and information that pertain to my students in the work that they do.

We have had the great pleasure of receiving our annual CPR and First Aid company training from Melissa for several years now. She is fun, energetic and a great instructor who not only teaches the required information but includes references of real-life examples from her career as a paramedic which keeps things interesting! Our employees enjoy the training so much that they request her return each year." - Maranetta - Simmons Masonry Inc.

We are a COR certified construction company based in Headingley that specializes in foundation repair. As part of our COR safety certification we are required to meet government safety standards including first aid training. We have used First Response First Aid training for 4 years and are very happy with the first aid training Melissa has provided. She fills the room with her presence, knows her business, commands respect and at the same time is always respectful of our staff and sub trade partners. I'm certainly comfortable with the value for money that First Response has provided and will continue our relationship for years to come.
